Black Stars Security Guard Aziz acts unprofessionally again ahead of AFCON opener [VIDEO]

An infamous member of the Black Stars security detail, Aziz, has shown off his latest act of unprofessionalism while discharging his duty.

He did so when he rudely interrupted a gentleman reportedly a journalist at the Black Stars hotel in Abidjan from taking videos of the players.

The voice of veteran Ghanaian sports journalist Yaw Ampofo Ankrah was heard in the background trying to de-escalate the situation after Aziz threatened to destroy the gentleman’s phone.

This comes on the back of Aziz allegedly assault Ghanaian sports journalist Seidu Adamu physically in the lead up to the Black Stars international friendly game against Mexico.

Kumasi based rapper Jay Bahd reported that he was harassed by Aziz when the Asakaa member visited the Black Stars ahead of a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar.

Ghana is gearing to play against Cape Verde in its’ opening game at the 2023 AFCON in Cote D’Ivoire; the Black Stars are in Group B with Egypt and Mozambique as well.

The Stars played out an uninspiring goalless draw against Namibia at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to round up its training camp activities in Ghana before flying out to Cote D’Ivoire.

Ghana is looking to win its fifth AFCON title after last winning the trophy in 1982.
