Mohammed Salisu gets “FIRE” haircut ahead of Black Stars AFCON opener [VIDEO]

In the lead up to the Black Stars opening game in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14 at 20:00 GMT, the Stars are generating quite some headlines off the field.

Before Ghana’s plays its first game in Cote D’Ivoire, Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu was captured in a trending video on Instagram after getting a haircut.

Barber Jean Kero showed off his “well lit” cut of Salisu’s hair before the AS Monaco player takes to the field against the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde. (Click highlighted text to watch video)

Salisu is likely to start for the Black Stars on his return to the team after a lengthy lay off due to injury following his move from Southampton to the French Ligue 1 side.

Ghana is in Group B with Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique at the 2023 AFCON.
