Ghana Premier League side, Accra Great Olympics Football Club, has officially announced that they have parted ways with head coach Annor Walker.

The announcement was made on Thursday, January 18 following a string of poor results and performances from the Dade Boys.

In the brief announcement, the club stated, “Accra Great Olympics and Coach Annor Walker have mutually parted ways”.

The club via the statement announced the appointment of veteran trainer Jimmy Corbblah as interim head coach as the club “settles for a new technical direction”.

Veteran head coach Annor Walker joined Accra Great Olympics ahead of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season.

After a bright start that had the Wonder Club lead the 18 team league standings at a point, the club’s form dipped towards the end of the first round.

Losing 0-1 to defending league champions Medeama SC in an outstanding league fixture on January 10 meant Olympics registered just two wins in its last eight games.

Annor Walker leaves Olympics with the Accra based side in 12th place with 21 points and just six points ahead of bottom ranked Accra Lions.
