Renowned legal practitioner Ace Ankomah has declined an invitation to serve as Vice – Chairman on the five member Committee set up by the Ghana Football Association to find a new coach for Ghana’s Black Stars.
The Committee, led by GFA Vice President Mark Addo, also comprises of Professor Joseph Mintah, Sports Ministry Chief Director William Caesar Kartey and Ghanaian Football legend Opoku Nti.
The search has become necessary after the decision was taken to sack Chris Hughton following Ghana’s Group stage exit from the ongoing Afcon.
The committee has three weeks to recommend a coach to the GFA Executive council for approval.
