Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) James Klutse Avedzi has bristled at National Sports Authority (NSA) Director General Professor Peter Twumasi over his behavior during the latter’s appearance before the committee.

Professor Twumasi was questioned in the presence of Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif before the committee over a fleet of decisions in his role as NSA boss.

While PAC Chairman James Avedzi probed Professor Twumasi for answers on NSA Central Regional head Alexander Atieku’s failure to honour a transfer to Accra, the NSA head kept interjecting prompting the Honourable Klutse to lash out saying,

“Director General, am talking. Why do you behave like this. Why? Is that how you are training your children? When you are talking, your children are also talking, you allow them to talk? You were here last year, we admonished the way you are behaving it’s not good.”

“You are not changing, you are not changing. I’m not sure you learnt anything from all the appearances you are coming to appear in the committee you are not actually respecting the Minister at all. You are actually undermining the Minister. It’s not good.”
