Black Queens touch down in Ndola ahead of crucial second leg against Zambia

Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team has touched down in Ndola ahead of the second leg of a 2024 Paris Olympics qualifier against Zambia.

The second leg takes place on Wednesday, February 28 at 16:00 GMT in Zambia in a must win game for Ghana’s Black Queens.

The Black Queens lost 1-0 to Zambia in the first leg played at the Accra Sports Stadium in Kumasi that had Zambian forward Rachael Kundananji register the game’s only goal.

In the lead up to the second leg, Black Queens head coach Nora Hauptle is optimistic about the team’s chances of progressing to the next stage after missing chances in the first leg.

Should Ghana beat Zambia and progress to the next round of qualifiers for this year’s Olympics, Ghana will meet the winner of the Morocco-Tunisia game.
