West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen says Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus was unlucky to miss out on the goals The Hammers registered in a 4-2 win over Brentford.

Bowen scored a hat-trick in the win Kudus described as “needed” considering the bad run of form West Ham had endured since the start of the year. West Ham were winless in six league games prior to the win over Brentford.

Kudus assisted Bowen’s third goal in the win but wasn’t able to add to his six goal tally in the league since joining the club from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam and Bowen was quick to point that out.

“Mo, he was unlucky not to score tonight, but he put in a great ball for me and that’s the quality that we have” Bowen said.
