Since trading for Ghana center Amida Brimah, Santa Cruz Warriors have flipped their season over and now have a winning record in the NBA Gatorade League.
Brimah got traded from Grand Rapids Gold and his play has inspired Warriors to win eight of its last 10 games and spot a winning record of nine wins and six losses.
The affiliate side of NBA franchise Golden State Warriors, Santa Cruz have move to sixth place in the Western Conference regular season standings.
The Warriors picked up its eighth win in 10 games via a 139-126 win over Texas Legends with Amida Brimah registering 12 points, nine rebounds and three blocks in the win.
Former Belgian Pro League winner with Filou Oostende, Brimah is averaging 7.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots per game in 20.7 minutes.
The Warriors are due to play Salt Lake City Stars (ranked 13th in the 15 team Western Conference standings) on Wednesday, February 7.
Brimah is aiming to return to the NBA after a brief stint with Indiana Pacers.
