Sports journalist Saddick Adams has tagged every Ghanaian football loving fan as a convener of the February 14 demonstration.
He said this in an interview on Citi TV’s Football Made in Ghana ahead of the event dubbed the “Save Ghana Football Demonstration”.
Adams and a handful of sports journalists including Veronica Commey are fronting the protest that comes in the wake of a bad run of performances by Ghanaian national football teams in international competitions.
Highlighted by the Black Stars’ back to back elimination in the first round of the AFCON, many football stakeholders have voiced their frustration against the state of affairs in the football space including Senior Pastor at the Alabaster International Ministry Prophet Kofi Oduro. “Everyone interested in sports is an organizer. Parliament asked who are the conveners of the demonstration and I told them Ghanaian football loving fans.”

The Black Stars failed to win a game in the 2021 and 2023 AFCON’s and suffered first round elimination in both tournaments.
