Technical Director of Brighton and Hove Albion, David Weir, has lauded the talent of Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman.
He said this via an official statement from the English Premier League side following the official transfer of Osman from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland to The Seagulls.
The 19 year old winger has officially agreed to join Brighton for 19.5 million euros and is set to join the team ahead of the 2024-2025 season after completing the 2023-2024 campaign with Nordsjaelland. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“We’re looking forward to the opportunity of working with Ibrahim. He’s a young and exciting prospect, but for now it’s important that we give him the space to focus fully on Nordsjaelland, where he is enjoying a good season.”
“Once the current season is over and he’s had the opportunity to rest during the summer, we will bring him into our environment where he will get the time and support he needs to settle here in England.”
Osman has four goals and five assists in 29 Danish league games this season.
