FC Samartex 1996 head coach Nurudeen Amadu has described Nations Football Club as a “stubborn side” ahead of a matchup between the two teams.

He said this in a post game interview after seeing his side secure a 2-1 win at Dormaa against Aduana Stars in the first round of games as the second half of the 2023-2024 season commenced.

Samartex’s lead atop the Ghana Premier League standing has improved to five points on the back of the win over the second ranked Aduana.

Amadu cautioned against complacency after the crucial win over Aduana and was equally cautious about the team’s chances against Nations FC on Sunday, March 3 at 15:00 GMT. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“Very very tough match. They are a stubborn side so we need not to be complacent of swollen headed. Every match is crucial as far as we are aspiring to get far, every match is very crucial.”
