AS Monaco’s preparation for its upcoming French Ligue 1 tie on Sunday, February 4 has been very good according to Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu.

The Black Stars player said this in a pre game presser as the French Principality team heads into the tie with both teams coming off drawn games.

Monaco drew 3-3 with Olympique Marseille despite ending the game with nine men while Le Havre needed two late goals from Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew to draw 3-3 with Lorient.

Salisu highlighted Le Havre’s strengths in his extensive interview with Monaco’s media channel including his take on Ghana’s disappointing run at the 2023 AFCON. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“The preparation for this match against Le Havre has been very good this week. We know that they are a good team and that a tough match awaits us. They defend well and are formidable on the counterattack.”

“We will have to be patient, attack at the right time and be focused on their counterattacks. We will also have to be careful in the air and on set pieces where they can be dangerous.”
