Head coach of Ghana’s National Men’s Beach Volleyball, Eden Chapnuor, believes his team has the quality to match the quality from top contenders in the competition at the 13th African Games.
Ghana is hosting the competition for the first time from March 8 to March 23 and the host nation booked its place in the quarterfinals courtesy a 2-1 win in the best of three games series at the Laboma Beach.

Speaking after the win, Eden Chapnuor, underlined the quality his team possesses ahead of the draw that could pair Ghana against some of the top contenders like Morocco and South Africa.
“In a competition like this when it gets to the knockout stage, anybody is a potential winner. They are all strong, there are a lot of teams, South Africa is there, Morocco is still there but we too we’ve done our work we know we will match with them.”
“We will make it to the ultimate, that is the promise we want to make and we are fighting towards it.”
