Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo bagged a brace against Luton Town to give AFC Bournemouth a 4-3 win over The Hatters in a sensational English Premier League outstanding fixture.

The brace pushes Semenyo’s tally in the Premier League this season to seven goals with the Black Stars player scoring a bulk of them in 2024.

Bournemouth trailed Luton 3-0 at half time but mounted a brilliant comeback to score the big win with Semenyo scoring Bournemouth’s third and fourth goals.

His first goal was the pick of the brace as the former Bristol player shifted the ball quickly on to his left foot checked on to his right and moved the ball back to his left foot and rifled it into the bottom right side of the goal.

Speaking to Bournemouth’s club channel, Semenyo indicated that being able to strike the ball with either foot confuses defenders.

“Playing out there (on the right wing) is a great position but coming inside, going on the outside confuses defenders they don’t what foot I am so it helps me. I picked the right the right choice, go low and hard and yeah it went in.”

Semenyo is expected to be named in the Black Stars squad for upcoming international friendly games against Nigeria and Uganda later this month.
