President of Ghana Athletics expresses desire to secure gold medal in High Jump at Olympic Games

Bawa Fuseini, the President of Ghana Athletics, has unveiled plans to nurture the talents of Ghana’s High Jump Gold Medalist, Evans Cadman Yamoah, with the aim of positioning him for future Olympic participation based on his rankings.

During an interview with Bernard Avle on The Point of View on Citi TV, Mr. Fuseini expressed, “We’re aiming to prepare him for the Olympics. He has the potential to qualify through rankings.”

The Ghanaian team achieved a historic milestone at the games, clinching a record-breaking total of sixty-eight medals, including nineteen golds, marking this achievement as the nation’s most notable in the event’s history.
