Head coach of Dreams FC, Karim Zito, says he is okay with the outcome of his team’s latest Ghana Premier League game ahead of a two legged tie in the CAF Confederation Cup against Stade Malien.
Karim Zito was on the bench as Dreams FC drew goalless with defending league champions Medeama SC in Tarkwa with Dreams set to play Malian side Stade Malien.
The upcoming game is set to take place on Sunday, March 31 at 17:00 GMT in Mali with the second leg set for April 7 in Ghana.
Speaking after the game, Karim Zito was okay with the result considering the Malian challenge in the quarterfinals is near and having to play without key players.
“I also said that I am going to use this game to prepare for Stade Malien. Three of my players are with the Under 20 National Team so even with all this, I still got them playing to get what I wanted (a draw or a win). Like I said, I’m using this game to prepare for Stade Malien so I’m okay, I’m okay with one point.”
Three Dreams FC players including Abdul Aziz Issah and Ofori McCarthy were part of Ghana’s Under 20 team that won gold at the 13th African Games.
