Inaki Williams deserves everything good that happens to him- Nico Williams

Spanish international Nico Williams is happy his brother Inaki Williams got on the score sheet for Athletic Bilbao again.

Ghana international, Inaki Williams, scored and provided an assist in Bilbao’s 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid at the San Memes; Bilbao progressed to the Copa Del Rey final via a 4-0 aggregate win.

The older Williams scored in the 13th minute with a wonderful volley off a cross from Nico Williams and the script was flipped in the 42nd minute when Inaki assisted Nico’s goal. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Speaking in the post game interview after the win, Nico Williams praised his brother’s efforts and went on to describe him as a “fantastic player” and “fantastic person”.

“I think my brother deserves everything good that happens to him in the world. He’s a fantastic person and a fantastic player. I encourage him to keep it up and I hope he continues scoring goals.”

The goal and assist against Atletico Madrid in the second leg was Inaki Williams second in both categories in four appearances in the Copa Del Rey.
