Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club players have delivered a series of hilarious reactions during an ice bath recovery session.

In a video posted to the club’s page, players of the Porcupine Warriors took turns into the enclosed cold water space as part of the session.

Forward Baba Yahaya was captured in clear discomfort as he struggled to adapt to the cold water while captain Justice Blay cast a cool figure in the pool.

The Porcupine Warriors are scheduled to play against Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas in the President’s Cup at the Baba Yara Stadium at 16:00 GMT.

Kotoko beat Bibiani Gold Stars 1-0 with Peter Acquah Amidu scoring the winner in added on time in the first half.

Despite the win, Kotoko assistant coach, David Ocloo, wasn’t impressed with his team’s inability to create more chances against Bibiani. (Click highlighted text to read full highlights)
