AFC Bournemouth manager, Andoni Iraola, has praised the efforts of Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo and other substitute players who played key roles in Bournemouth’s latest win.
Bournemouth beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium in the English Premier League to extend its unbeaten run to five.
Justin Kluivert scored in the 79th minute after slamming the ball into the net with Semenyo feeding him off the right wing.
Both players came off the bench and their impact resonated with the Spanish manager who praised them and fellow substitutes who featured in the game.
“In the second half, a probably more open contest and in the end Antoine and Justin they made the difference…the subs gave us more energy. Milos, Antoine, Justin, even Max (Aarons) to close the game and its good because we are finishing strong, scoring goals late and we have to continue.”
Antoine Semenyo has seven goals and three assists in 26 English Premier League games ahead of Bournemouth’s game against Luton Town on Saturday, April 6.
