Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil isn’t fazed by switching position to line up on the right side of attack for Los Angeles Galaxy.

The 26 year old Black Stars player conveyed this level of assurance in his post game interview after the Galaxy’s 3-1 win over Vancouver Whitecaps in Canada.

Paintsil scored a goal and laid on an assist in the win taking the former KRC Genk player to three goals and three assists in eight games for the season.

The Galaxy winger’s fine form has earned him a spot in the early MVP race but Paintsil is focused on helping the team even if that means switching to the right side of attack.

“Me playing at the right side is something that I have always been playing also in my ex team so is something that I am used to…whenever we did a switch, it really opened for us to do the run especially on my side so it’s really a plus and good momentum for us.”
