Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Board Member, Vincent Sowah Odotei, says the Phobian club’s results thus far in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season have been disappointing compared to the level of investments made by the club.

He said this in an exclusive interview on Citi TV’s Football Made in Ghana in the wake of Hearts of Oak’s 3-1 win over Karela United. Prior to the win, Hearts endured a three game losing run.

At the time of publication, Hearts of Oak rank ninth in the league ahead of its game against Legon Cities in Dawu on Saturday, April 20.

“We are disappointed. When you look at Hearts of Oak as a unit, we have everything in palce to be the most successful club in the country. We have the infrastructure, I believe that everybody agrees that we had a very good preseason”

Vincent Sowah Odotei

“Our on-field results it is disappointing compared to the investment that we’ve made so honestly, we are not happy with where we are.”
