CAF CONFED CUP: We will score in Ghana even if it’s just a goal- Zamalek Coach

SC Zamalek head coach, Jose Gomes, believes it is possible for his team to score at least a goal in Ghana against Dreams FC in the second leg of its CAF Confederation Cup semifinal two legged tie.

In the first leg played in Egypt, Zamalek drew goalless with Dreams FC despite having several chances to score in the game.

In his post game press conference, Gomes was disappointed his team failed to convert any of its several chances to gain an advantage heading into the return leg.

“We expected more from the players in the match regarding the way we played. We had many chances and did not score, and it is possible that we will score in Ghana, even if at least one goal” he said to CAF.

“We missed speed and playing our way against Dreams. Unfortunately, we were not able to achieve victory and the first half of the semi-final match ended. We now need to focus and play the second half well in Ghana” Gomes added.
