Ghana midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp says he didn’t have a choice but to shoot at goal when speaking about his stunning goal against Fulham.

Schlupp’s goal scored in the 86th minute helped Crystal Palace earn a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage to extend Palace’s unbeaten run to four games.

Speaking to Crystal Palace media after the draw, the 31 year old talked about the stunning strike that fetched him his second goal of the 2023-2024 English Premier League season.

“We locked eye contact and as soon as he (Adam Wharton) put on his left foot, he likes the reverse pass into the pocket.”
