Black Stars forward, Inaki Williams, is seemingly upset over racist chants directed at his brother Nico Williams by Atletico Madrid fans in a Spanish League game against Athletic Bilbao.

The racist incident happened in the first half of the league contest that ended in a 3-1 loss to Bilbao that hurts the latter’s chances of qualifying to the Champions League.

Nico scored after forcing the game to be halted due to reported racist chants directed at him by some Atletico Madrid fans at the Wanda Metropolitano. He celebrated by pointing to his skin.

After lashing out at the actions and condemning racism, the Ghanaian forward defended his brother who plays for the Spanish National Team. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“My brother does everything the best he can on the field. He enjoys making people those who watch him happy and I have not understood why people criminalize him. I think that those whistles should be directed at the people who said those insults and not at the victim. No.”
