Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Okraku, has pegged the All Regional Games as a competition that will improve two key areas in the football ecosystem.

The GFA boss believes the Asamoah “Baby Jet” Gyan led multi-sport competition will aid in fixing the fundamentals and catch talents young.

He said this in his address delivered at the launch of the All Regional Games that had football legend Asamoah Gyan and former Black Stars players Fatau Dauda, John Paintsil, Stephen Appiah and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu present.

Speaking at the event, the GFA President lauded Gyan for launching the program that seeks to unearth more talents for Ghana in nine sports disciplines including football, table tennis and volleyball.

“The idea of the All Regional Games fits into two key areas in our current football ecosystem; fixing the fundamentals and catching the talent young.”

“Athletes, sports men need clean and organized platforms, which is a key part of fixing the fundamentals, to show what they can do. The Baby Jet and the team here are helping the country in fixing the fundamentals.”
