Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club midfielder, Baba Yahaya, says he is hoping the team’s poor form turns around as soon as possible.

He said this ahead of Kotoko’s tough matchup against Bechem United on Saturday, April 6 at 18:00 GMT with Kotoko ranked 10th in the 18 team league standings (32 points).

Bechem on the other hand, rank fifth with just a point separating the two sides in the midst of Kotoko’s poor run with the Porcupine Warriors having just a win in six league games.

Kotoko have lost to Nations FC, Accra Lions, Karela United and Aduana Stars and Yahaya believes the team’s form uptick will come but it needs to come as soon as possible.

“We didn’t start the season well in the first season but we were able to turn things around. Our form hasn’t been good since the second round started and it is up to us to turn things around and we are hoping that turn in form is as soon as possible” he said to Kotoko media.

Yahaya is competing in his first season with Kotoko after transferring from fellow Kumasi based team King Faisal. The 22 year old has a goal and an assist in 14 league games.
