Athletic Bilbao Sporting Director, Mikel Gonzalez, has described Ghana forward Inaki Williams as the best example of hard work.
He said this in an interview with the BBC ahead of Bilbao’s Copa Del Rey final against Real Mallorca on Saturday, April 6 at 18:00 GMT.
Bilbao are in the running for its first title of the season and Inaki Williams and his brother, Nico, have played key roles in the team’s successful run in the tournament.
While talking about Nico Williams, Gonzalez highlighted the important role Inaki has played in the Spanish winger’s development.
“Inaki is helping Nico a lot in everything. Nico is a very good player but he is very young and you can imagine a lot of noise around him with clubs, with agents but Inaki is the best example of hard work.”

“They feel happy very well here in Bilbao. They believe in the project. They are very happy with the team, with the coach, with everything” he added.

Born to Ghanaian parents in Spain, Nico represents the land of his birth internationally while Inaki represents Ghana.
