Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has had two of his goals scored in the month of March nominated for West Ham United’s Goal of the Month Award.
Kudus is the only player with two goals in the list of goals up for the award where the winner will be determined via a vote count.
The former Ajax Amsterdam player had an excellent month after struggling to continue his fine form this season in February off the 2023 AFCON campaign that had Ghana crash out at the preliminary stage without registering a win.
The month of March had Kudus score twice against SC Freiburg in the Europa League (both goals were named as nominees for the Goal of the Month Award), bag another in a 4-3 loss to Newcastle and register a couple of assists along the way.
His first against Freiburg is expected to have him win the award with the finish being so good that it might just end up getting Kudus the Goal of the season Award.
