Karela United Football Club head coach, Abukari Damba, is delighted with his team’s performance despite losing to Nsoatreman in the MTN FA Cup.

Nsoatreman beat Karela United 1-0 in extra time in the quarterfinals of the MTN FA Cup to book a place in the semifinals thanks to a late goal from Eric Osei Bonsu.

Speaking an interview after the loss, coach Damba was disappointed with the result but was upbeat about the team’s ability to pick themselves immediately and record wins in the league based on the fine performance of his boys in the loss.

“Both teams played very well. They showed passion, they showed character from both teams and I think it was a fair reflection of the game. The performance of my players gives me a lot of joy. Even though we conceded a goal, I still give them thumbs up.”
