Despite failing to win a game in six Ghana Premier League outings in the second half of the 2023-2024 season, Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club assistant coach, David Ocloo, is calling for patience from fans of the Porcupine Warriors.

He said this in a post game interview after seeing Kotoko lose 2-1 to Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. This is the fifth loss in six games.

Kotoko have endured a terrible run of form in the second round of the league with a controversial goalless draw at Bechem United preventing the Kumasi lads from registering a six game winless streak.

After blaming the team’s latest loss on a lack of concentration, David Ocloo called on Kotoko fans to be patient with the team. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“It’s a work in progress…It’s unfortunate and I feel their pain but they should bear with us. This is football and sometimes, it happens they should just bear with us and keep supporting us. We will definitely turn things around.”

Kotoko rank 10th in the 18 team league standings.
