Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has called for all Kotoko stakeholders to rally around the team especially the players to push Kotoko out of its poor run.

The Porcupine Warriors beat Ghana Premier League leaders FC Samartex 1-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium with the winning goal coming via a controversial penalty.

The win ended Kotoko’s winless run with the Porcupine Warriors losing six games and drawing another in seven outings in the Ghana Premier League 2023-2024 season second round.

After stating that his team deserved the penalty based on the pressure his team placed on FC Samartex, Dr. Ogum added that Kotoko players need support from all to build their confidence and get them out of the rot. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“I think it’s all about trying to encourage them to boost their confidence letting them know they are capable of doing it and that we can turn things around”
