Head coach of Nsoatreman Football Club, Maxwell Konadu, says his team’s all attack mindset was key to its latest win in the Ghana Premier League 2023-2024 season.

Nsoatreman beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium with the winning strike coming via a fine finish from Abdul Rahman in added-on time.

Konadu said this in his post game interview as the late winner piles more pressure on under fire Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum who has had his side lose five in six games in the second half of the season.

“Before the game I told you that we didn’t come to defend; we play all attacking football and that is the result we had. Even though we conceded the equalizer, we kept our shape and made sure that we handled the ball and circulated the ball very well and it paid off so I’m proud of the boys today.”

On the other hand, Kotoko assistant coach, David Ocloo blamed “loss of concentration” for his team’s loss.
