Black Stars and AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has confessed that he wants to score in games against Mali and Central African Republic (CAR).
The upcoming games are the latest 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for the Black Stars after beating Madagascar and losing 1-0 to Comoros.
Ghana take on Mali on June 6 in Bamako and take on CAR on June 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in the first official games for Black Stars head coach Otto Addo on his return to the top technical spot.
Antoine Semenyo, while addressing the media after a training session held at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon, stated the objective of the team was to win both games and added his personal objective stating, (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“I want to score in both games if I’m honest. As a striker you want to score. Score goals and help the team get forward up the pitch. That’s it for me.”

Ghana is attempting to qualify to the FIFA World Cup for the fifth time.
