Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club midfielder Salim Adams is set to leave the team for Sudanese club Al-Hilal Sporting Club (Omdurman).

According to Africa Soccer Zone, the Phobian Club has agreed a deal with the Sudanese side over the transfer with the midfielder in line to depart for Al Hilal once the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier league season concludes.

Salim Adams concluded a loan spell to Cincinnati FC in the Major League Soccer (MLS) before returning to Hearts of Oak this season.

News of Adams’ potential transfer comes in the lead up to Hearts’ crunch league game against archrival Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday, May 26 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The former New Edubiase FC player has featured 13 times in the league and registered two goals and an assist this season.

He is battling to be available for the game against Kotoko after exiting Hearts’ 1-0 loss to Aduana Stars FC at the Accra Sports Stadium in the immediate past round of league games.
