Injured players have enough time to recover for Hearts game- Aduana Stars Head Coach

Head coach of Aduana Stars Football Club, Yaw Acheampong, says there is enough time for his team to deal with injuries to key players before taking on Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club.

Aduana play against Hearts next in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season on Friday, May 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Acheampong’s lads head into the game after drawing goalless with Accra Lions at the Accra Stadium on Monday, May 4. The draw means Aduana are winless in their last three league games.

Prior to the Lions game, Aduana had lost 2-1 to Karela United and 1-0 to Bibiani Gold Stars; in the reverse fixture, Aduana beat Lions 1-0 on April 14.

“It was a very difficult game but tactically I’m very happy with the performance today. Sometimes you play with what you have…as you can see today, it’s not about position, it’s about playing a role. Our next game is against Hearts here and I’m happy with the play today…we will have much time to work on the injured players and see if they can come and join us against Hearts.”

Aduana rank fourth in the league standings.
