Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, says he just followed his instincts while speaking about his brilliant goal against Manchester City.
He said this in an interview with West Ham media after scoring a consolation goal in West Ham’s 3-1 loss to Man City in the final season of the English Premier League 2023-2024 season.
Kudus’ goal scored in the 42nd minute came off a corner kick that had the player who Man City manager Pep Guardiola describe as “exceptional”, control the ball before showing off his athleticism by connecting with the ball in midair. (Click highlighted interview to read full story)
In the interview, Kudus promised that his fine debut season was “just the beginning” and that there is more to come from him in the future.
“As an attacker, was just doing my best to get the team back in the game. It gave the team the energy that we could be back in the game. Glad that it went in, it’s just one of those times in the game where you just follow your instincts.”

“I just went for it and am just glad it went in and gave the team the incentive to get back in the game.”
