Mohammed Kudus has eulogized fellow Black Stars player Kamaldeen Sulemana following the latter’s recent success with Southampton.

Sulemana is set to compete in the English Premier League 2024-2025 season after Southampton gained promotion from the English Championship to compete in the elite division.

Southampton beat Leeds United 1-0 in the Playoff Final at Wembley Stadium to book the third and final qualification spot from the Championship to the EPL.

Sulemana was an unused substitute in the game but featured 25 times in the Championship and registered three assists despite missing significant time to injury.

Reacting to a picture of Sulemana at a parade celebrating Southampton’s qualification, Kudus celebrated the achievement of his fellow Right To Dream Academy mate.

“When a king’s palace burns down, the re-built palace is more beautiful” Kudus wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page.

Kudus moved from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam to EPL side West Ham United this past season and impressed in his debut season to finish second in West Ham’s Player of the Season Award.
