Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has highlighted the tactical moves his club made to beat big rival Accra Hearts of Oak for the second time in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season.

He said this in his post -game interview after Kotoko beat Hearts 2-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi with both goals coming from striker Steven Dese Mukwala.

Dr. Ogum praised Mukwala for his brace in the clash and commended the Ugandan player for living up to expectation before touching on the tactical adjustments that got his team the win over Hearts. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“Observing them play most of their matches, we realized that we need to contain them and then catch them on the break and if you look at the first goal, that’s exactly what happened and even the second goal too, it was the same.”
