Black Starlets celebrate goal against Cote D'Ivoire

Head coach of Ghana’s National Under 17 Men’s Football Team, the Black Starlets, Laryea Kingston, says there is more room for improvement for his team.

This comes after Ghana spanked Cote D’Ivoire 5-1 to open its campaign in the 2024 WAFU Under 17 Zone B Championship.

Ghana dominated Cote D’Ivoire in the opening game of the competition played out at the University of Ghana Stadium with three goals in the second half buffering a brace from Joseph Narbi in the first half.

Speaking in the post game interview, Kingston praised his technical team and added that there is more room for improvement for his boys despite the big win.

“Of course, there is more room for improvement…as a technical people, we will sit down and watch the game again to see where we have to improve and then make sure we encourage these lads to grow as people. We will watch the video again and make sure we correct our mistakes”.
