Black Stars celebrate win

Black Stars head coach, Otoo Addo, is confident that all players of Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, will be ready for Ghana’s game against Central African Republic.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier comes off on Monday, June 10 at 19:00 GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and marks the fourth game in the 10 game qualification phase that determines the team that qualifies automatically to the next World Cup from Group I.

After preaching against complacency in his pregame presser, Otto Addo addressed issues on injuries after Ghana bagged a 2-1 win over Mali in very hot conditions in Bamako on June 6. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“We had some few injuries but it seems like everybody will train fully today, and I’m sure everyone will be ready for tomorrow.”

Ghana head into the game ranked third in Group I with six points with leaders Madagascar and second ranked Comoros having the same number of points but the latter duo has a superior goal difference than the Black Stars.
