I can do better at 2024 Paris Olympic Games- Rose Yeboah

Ghana high jumper, Rose Yeboah, is confident that she will perform better in the 2024 Olympic Games that will take place in Paris, France later this year.

This year’s Olympics run from July 26 to August 11 and the University of Illinois athlete has set her eyes on putting up on a top performance.

Yeboah is coming off a gold medal winning performance at the recently ended African Athletics Championship in Douala, Cameroon though she wasn’t impressed with the state of the track at the Japoma Stadium. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

The NCAA Outdoor Champion won gold at the 2023 African Games in Accra before booking her spot at the upcoming Olympics where she believes she can do better.

“I feel like I can do better there (in Paris) because I have been taking my training seriously. I think they should expect more from me because I’m going to make everybody happy. Qualifying to the Olympics isn’t even easy…so I’m looking out for the best.”

Yeboah won gold at the 2022 African Athletics Championship in Mauritius and is one of Ghana’s biggest medal hopes in Paris.
