Black Stars head coach Otto Addo believes that his team’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers matchup against Central African Republic (CAR) will be difficult because there are high expectations for the Black Stars to win the game.
He said this in a post game presser after seeing his team beat Mali 2-1 in Bamako for its second win in three games.
Ernest Nuamah and substitute Jordan Ayew scored the goals for the Black Stars for Ghana’s first win in 2024.
Ghana take on CAR next on Monday, June 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and Otto Addo believes that the Black Stars surprise win in Bamako adds for expectations for a win against CAR.
