Real Tamale United (RTU) have until Friday, June 14 to respond to a charge of alleged player impersonation following the fallout from RTU’s league game against Dreams FC.
RTU suffered an 8-1 thumping to Dreams FC in the penultimate game of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season for both teams. RTU’s relegation from the league was confirmed prior to the game. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
The result all but confirmed Dreams FC’s stay in the league after flirting with relegation in the lead up to the contest on Wednesday, June 12.
However, there was an alleged case of impersonation of a registered player for RTU breaching Section 34 (6)(d) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Code, 2019 a statement from the GFA released communicated.
The GFA’s statement added that RTU have until Friday, June 14, 2024 to respond to the alleged breach. Scroll down to read full statement from the GFA.
