US based broadcaster Adam Susman has described Ghana winger Osman Bukari’s move from Red Star Belgrade to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Austin FC as an exciting one for Austin and for the MLS.
He said this on his Evergreen Podcast in the wake of Bukari’s move from Serbia that he reported was worth $7 million in what is reportedly a club transfer record. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
Bukari signed a three and a half year deal to join Austin with an option to extend by a year as a Designated Player. His Designated Player status means he will be one of the highest paid players at the club.
While highlighting Bukari’s contract in his monologue, Susman indicated that Austin’s signing was a good one for the club and the league.
“Overall, this is a very exciting signing for Austin and Major League Soccer. Players like this make the league more fun and for Austin specifically, Sebastian Driussi, their current star is the biggest winner here.”

“A player like this (Osman Bukari) can up that goal tally so much quicker and so much higher. I’m excited to see Bukari play for Austin.”
