Black Stars winger Osman Bukari has met his new teammates at Austin FC after signing to join the Major League Soccer (MLS) side.
Bukari signed a three and a half year deal with Austin after moving from Serbian side Red Star Belgrade following a successful stint. He joined Red Star from French Ligue 1 side FC Nantes.
The deal was completed ahead of Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic. The games in a 2-1 win and 4-3 win respectively for Ghana.
On his arrival at Austin FC’s training facility, Bukari met a handful of Austin FC players and had a brief interaction with Austin FC head coach Josh Wolff who stated,
“Good to meet you, welcome. Settle in, we’ve got plenty of time but good to meet you here”.

Bukari was greeted at the facility by Austin FC fans who put on a festive atmosphere for the Black Stars player.
