Black Stars defender Denis Odoi has officially joined Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Royal Antwerp from fellow Belgian league side Club Brugge.

Odoi joins Antwerp on a free transfer after his two year run with Club Brugge ended following the expiration of his contract. The Belgium born player played for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Prior to joining Brugge, Odoi spent six seasons at Fulham where the London club swayed between the English Premier League and English Championship.

The club stated that the 36 year old full back has signed a two year deal with Antwerp with the deal extending his stay in the Belgian top flight for two more seasons and added that,

“Odoi (36) is a versatile player who, with his experience, can be of great importance in the young dressing room of RAFC. Good luck, Dennis.”
