Assistant head coach of Tudu Magic Basketball Club, Shadrach Nii Quaye, has praised the overall quality shown in the 2024 Betway Community Hoops.

He said this on the sidelines of the competition that was held at the Dansoman SSNIT Basketball Court that was won by Nungua Coldstore.

Coldstore got the better of Bombers to win the title and clinch the trophy for the third time after emerging as winners of the Takoradi and Tema editions held in previous years.

Magic lost to Coldstore in the semifinals and despite the disappointment, coach Nii Quaye highlighted the positives the overall quality in the competition.

“So far, so good, I liked what I saw here” he said as eight teams competed in the community themed basketball competition.

Teams like Nungua Coldstore, Kaneshie Swanlakers, Rams Basketball Club, DC Keys, Ripples Basketball Club and Bombers featured in the 2024 Betway Community Hoops.

Magic is aiming to qualify to the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I from the Division II.
