Socaloca, a revolutionary football app, has been successfully launched in partnership with the Ghana Football Association.

This innovative platform is designed to collect and collate data on local footballers, to enhance their visibility and market value on a global scale.

The app will feature comprehensive profiles of players, including general information and detailed statistics. By providing this data, the platform aims to significantly boost the brand of the players, making them more attractive to scouts, agents, and clubs worldwide.

During the launch event at the UDS conference room, Lionel Foy, co-founder of Socaloca, highlighted the critical role the app will play in helping football clubs generate revenue.

“Clubs are in the business of making money.

Football clubs cannot sustain themselves without generating income.

In Africa, our football clubs have only one way of making money, and that is through player transfers and talent development,” Foy stated.

The Socaloca app has already been piloted in the Eastern Regional Division Two League with promising results. It is set to be rolled out across various lower leagues in Ghana before eventually reaching the Premier League stage.
