Nsoatreman FC made an impressive start to their CAF Confederation Cup campaign with a 3-0 victory over Chadian club Elect-Sport FC on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Ghana FA Cup champions secured a 3-0 triumph in the first leg of the preliminary round played in Accra as they begin the journey to compete in Africa’s elite competition in the upcoming season.
Goals from Abdul Rahaman and Kwabena Adu Meider led Nsoatreman FC to victory against the Chadian side who were less productive up-front in the entire game.

Elect Sport’s struggles worsened when their goalkeeper, Mahamat Bechir, was sent off for handling the ball outside the penalty area in the 54th minute leading to Nsoatreman FC capitalising on the numerical advantage by scoring a third goal to seal the win.
Goalkeeper Daniel Afazdwu also played a crucial role, making three key saves in the final 20 minutes to keep Elect Sport from scoring.
Nsoatreman FC heads into the return leg with a solid advantage.
