Leicester City Football Club have upped their transfer offer for Ghana Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew as the transfer window draws to a close.
The Foxes have been interested in the veteran player and even tabled a four million pound offer for the former Aston Villa player.

Former English Premier League Champions Leicester manager, Steve Cooper’s past time working with Ayew at Swansea City, is believed to be the main reason behind The Foxes’ chase for the Ghana player.
Ahead of the 2024-2025 season, Leicester City lost Nigeria striker Kelechi Iheanacho to Spanish side Sevilla with Patson Daka nursing an injury.
Despite playing 20 minutes in Crystal Palace’s 2-1 loss to Brentford in the opening round of the new season, 32 year old Ayew is low on the depth chart of Palace’s forward line with the likes of Ismaila Sarr, Eberechi Eze and Matheus Franca in the fold.
